There are many things in life we can stop, except one-the desire for money, and to any price. In this story, I cannot control what’s going on unless trying a radical intervention, such as a conservatorship, but that would probably fail. Greediness generates an itchy feeling of disturbances that grows over time. In this case, I would call it a vulture-ism.
